Community Awareness

Rallies, workshops and street theatre on health, rights and safety.

Community Awareness

Many of the problems our communities face are made worse by a simple lack of information. People may not know about a government scheme they qualify for, the early signs of a disease, or where to go when they feel unsafe. Our Community Awareness programme puts reliable information within reach.

We use street theatre, rallies, school sessions, pamphlets in local languages and neighbourhood meetings to speak about health, hygiene, child rights, women's safety, cyber safety and environmental care. Sessions are interactive, respectful and designed to make people feel comfortable asking questions.

Trained youth ambassadors carry the conversation forward. They visit housing societies and schools, answer questions, and help families fill forms for entitlements such as ration cards, health cards and scholarships.

Awareness is only useful if it leads to action, so every campaign ends with a clear next step: a nearby camp, a helpline number, or a volunteer who can help. We track attendance and follow-up to learn what works and improve our next campaign.
