Medical Treatment
For many families, a doctor's visit means a lost day of wages and a bill they cannot pay. Our Medical Treatment programme removes both barriers by bringing qualified doctors, diagnostics and medicines directly into the neighbourhoods where they are needed most.
Throughout the year we organise free general health camps, eye check-up and cataract camps, dental camps, blood donation drives and specialist days. Each camp includes registration, consultation, basic tests such as blood pressure, sugar and haemoglobin, and a medicine counter with clear counselling in the local language.
Patients who need further treatment are given referral slips and, where required, financial help for surgery, dialysis, or long-term medication. Our coordinators follow up by phone and home visits to make sure that treatment is actually completed and not left halfway.
We work with partner hospitals, diagnostic labs and individual doctors who volunteer their time. Records are handled with care, consent is always taken, and no patient is ever turned away because of their ability to pay.
