Women's Health & Empowerment
When a woman becomes healthy, financially independent and informed about her rights, the whole family benefits. Our Women's Health & Empowerment programme works on three fronts together: health, skills and safety.
On the health side, we hold awareness sessions on maternal care, nutrition, menstrual hygiene and early screening. Trained women volunteers speak openly and respectfully, creating safe spaces where questions that are usually considered taboo can finally be asked and answered.
On the livelihood side, our skill circles teach tailoring, handicrafts, digital literacy and basic financial planning. Participants are helped to save for their first machine or tools, connect with local buyers, and start small home-based enterprises that provide a steady income.
For women facing domestic stress or violence, we offer counselling, legal guidance and referrals to partner organisations. Activity corners at our workshops mean that mothers can attend knowing their children are safe and engaged nearby.
